Camel Milk USA and What It Means for Diabetics
Dr. Millie Hinkle is the founder of quite an interesting company: Camel Milk USA. Her work with camel milk is vast, but one particular study stands out for diabetics. Research and immense devotion to this project, she has brought camel milk into the world of treatment for diabetes.
Dr. Hinkle has changed the United States laws in 2009 to allow for the sale of camel’s milk. With this advancement, she plans to spend this summer on her first large-scale study on the treatment of diabetes with camel’s milk. She already works with hundreds of Type I and Type II diabetes patients, treating them with the milk. Per liter, this milk has 56 units of insulin. She is in the process of getting powdered milk into capsules, also providing the insulin.
A little girl in Arizona with Type I diabetes, went from 4 injections to just one in 10 days while being treated by the camel milk. A man with Type II diabetes who was previously bald, was able to grow hair while on the milk. These results are not limited to humans, Dr. Hinkle also has many diabetic pets on the milk as well.
Around the world, Dr. Millie Hinkle is working with hospitals and research centers to educate and promote studies including the camel milk. Her work has shown promising results for diabetics all over the globe.
